Along
with the implementation of the National Social Security system which
has been in effect as of January 1, 2014. The role of pharmacy services
is increasing in the effort to achieve the Millennium Development Goals
(MDGs) through the rational use of medicines (POR). However,
based on survey results DG of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices
Ministry of Health show that the health center care has implemented new
standards-compliant pharmacy services reached 25%. This condition illustrates that most health centers still apply care pharmacy service was good. This
becomes an obstacle to achieve optimal pharmaceutical services which
will be reflected by the low level of satisfaction and public confidence
in the pharmaceutical services. Thus the need concerted efforts to realize the quality of service expected.
Based
on the facts on the ground as a base percentages care health center
primary care pharmacists who own and run a comprehensive pharmacy
services only about 25% if the remaining 75% are ready to follow the
pace of the demands of time or wait and see? One
important effort in realizing the role of pharmacists is to drugs
information service provider / health workers and patients in order to
improve the Quality of life pasein so expect an increase in patient
satisfaction with pharmaceutical services and the positive impact can be
felt by society in general. Therefore, it needs to be grown responsiveness and aspects
of discipline and certainty of the time required to serve a
comprehensively be made a permanent procedure that is qualified, tested
and trustworthy.
It also runs the functional role of pharmacists in a comprehensive manner. The role is the primary duty of clinical pharmacy. This
activity consists of prescription services, provision of drug
information, counseling, visite either independently or with a team, the
manufacture of means of information, counseling in health promotion
efforts and home care pharmacy. Other duties as are inherent role of recording and
reporting, monitoring, rational drug use and generic drugs,
administration of drug misuse (medication errors), monitoring of drug
side effects, pharmacy records, monitoring, evaluation and follow-up
(MoH, 2009).
Pharmacy services is not separated from the responsibilities of the profession of pharmacy (Pharmaceutical care). The
role of pharmacists in the pharmacy services at the health center
includes administrative pharmaceuticals and medical devices and clinical
pharmacy services. This
clinical pharmacy services includes prescription drug services, drug
information, counseling visite independently or with the medical team,
the manufacture of means of information such as brochures, leaflets,
posters, newsletters, health promotion, home care. Types of pharmacy services is also a professional services
that can be measured by looking at and considering the level of patient
satisfaction.
Implementation
of the role and functions of pharmacists in the pharmacy services in
Pusksemas be supported and sought as much as possible in an effort to
achieve optimal health center accreditation. This is reflected from the aspect of development policy, manjerial and technical synergies from upstream to downstream. But
most important is the strong commitment of human profession to work
hard and work selflessly to achieve professional responsibility as an
effort and a real role in the development of general health through
excellent performance in the pharmacy services at the health center.
